Kanzaki Sayaka was still in high school when she became interested in Mecha (giant robots) and particularly in Mobile Suit Gundam, however the lack of interest from her friends and the discouragement of her family made her stop pursuing her interests.

Now a 30 year old office lady, Sayaka has a fateful encounter with another "Gunpla" loving high school girl: Takamiya Sora.
