Herscherik began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on January 18, 2014. Futabasha released a revised and illustrated version of the series from April 14, 2016 to February 14, 2018 under its M Novels label until the print release was discontinued after 5 volumes.


The series has been published digitally in English as The Epic Tale of the Reincarnated Prince Herscherik by J-Novel Club since August 10, 2020.
